Hey! Boomer is still around! This was after his second day of rebuilding.
I guess you wouldn't expect anything else from a guy who was made to build dams, right?
Some people don't feel very friendly toward beavers. I was happy to see Boomer is still around. I worried he might be in harms way.
The primary ways people deal with beavers is to poison them and to kill-trap them. This time Boomer was lucky. I understand that once a mountain beaver digs its burrow it is difficult to get to it, thus the poison and traps.
Happily, Boomer lives for another round here on Evans Creek.
