It appears BB has begun another dam downstream. Or maybe it’s just an accidental blockage. But it has grown since yesterday.
We had a couple of inches of rain so the creek is flowing rapidly, but the dam is holding. I did a few seconds of video of the new dam and the existing one.
I haven’t seen the beaver yet. It is likely a mountain beaver. These beavers burrow underground to make a den, rather than making a den inside a dam.
